Experience summary

The Pacific waves have been calling — and now's the time to answer. At Playa Chamán, inside the Marino Ballena National Park, our experienced surf instructors guide beginners and intermediate surfers through every step of mastering the waves. Before touching the water, you'll practice on the sand: paddling technique, balance, and the all-important pop-up. Then the instructor walks beside you into the warm Pacific, staying close until the moment you stand up on that board for the first time. It's one of those moments that makes every person smile the same way, regardless of age or experience.

What to expect

• Warm-up and technique practice on the sand with your instructor
